Why do we hate?
Do we do so in order to escape,
from the ones who leave us tender from betray?
A defense against surrender?
An attempt to circumvent?
A desperate plea we don’t readily see?
How do we set ourselves free,
from the smoke and debris,
from the force which catapulted our soul,
into a realm unbeknown?
That’s it! Unbeknown!
We obsess over control,
but little do we know…
